Simply Cups

Simply Cups is an initiative by Closed Loop. Closed Loop saw the impact of coffee cups on our planet, with more than 1.8 billion hot drink cups being used in Australia every year causing environmental distress to our wildlife and sea life. In addition to animal impact, cups that end up in landfill do not decompose and emit emissions.

Closed Loop identified an opportunity to create a closed loop solution for cups, starting with a seperate material stream collection, then working with technologies and manufacturers to prioritise coffee cup material for upcycling.
